We've made some big additions to two of our EveryBlock sites.

In Los Angeles, our newest EveryBlock city, we've added two great data sets: pool inspections and pool closures. In short, you can get notified when pools near you are inspected and/or closed due to violations. The information for both sections comes from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

In Charlotte, we've substantially improved our food establishment inspection section. We now provide information about more types of facilities — and we've added spa and pool inspections.

In the case of Charlotte, the improvements would not have been possible without the help of the Mecklenburg County Health Department.
